Dear Clients and Caregivers,

You are cordially invited to our second macro virtual educational workshop on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 7 to 8:30p.m. via Zoom. The topic for this workshop is: Positive Living, Mental Health and Substance Use presented by Dr. Jonathon Herriot from Church Wellesley  clinic.

In this session Dr. Herriot will share his knowledge on how to live positively and deal with mental health and substance use especially during the pandemic. He is passionate about this topic, he truly believes we can all support the community and to each other by learning what individuals went through during the crisis of mental health and substance use.

Jonathon Herriot is a family physician with expertise in caring for people living with HIV. He completed his medical degree at the University of Saskatchewan, before coming to the University of Toronto for his family medicine residency training.

After residency, he completed his fellowship in HIV primary care at St. Michael’s Hospital. Jonathon is also a staff physician at Casey House hospital. In addition to general practice and HIV primary care, Jonathon has expertise in HIV prevention including PrEP and PEP, Hepatitis C treatment, mental health care, and helping patients with their substance use.

Question and answer session will follow the presentation. To compensate for your meal, registered ACAS support program service users will be provided with an honorarium of $15.00, once you complete the evaluation of the workshop.
