The ACAS Men's Program (SLAM!) presents.... the GAYSIAN GAMES at the Beach! In honour of the Gay Games in Hong Kong 2022, we are having our own fun Gaysian Games! Expect relays, water balloons, and lots of laughs. We'll bring the banh mi (Viet subs) and Chinese buns to share. Bring your own water, sunscreen, and speedos! Feel free to bring some light food or snacks to share (optional). Please RSVP going to this event by email men@acas.org. It will help us know how much banh mi and buns to buy. This event is FREE for LGBTQ Asian cis & trans men, cis & trans women, and nonbinary folks. Monday September 30 260 Spadina Ave, Unit 410 6:00pm - Doors open for arrivals 6:30pm - Movie start time **Bring your own snacks, dinner, food. We will have water and tea available. You can leave right after the movie or stay and hang out as we process and discuss the movie together. 2 Weddings and a Funeral (2012, South Korea, 1 hr 46 min) with English subtitles Trailer: https://youtu.be/Zj3T0CvdP1M Min-soo (KIM), a gay man, and Hyo-jin (RYOO), a lesbian, both decided to get married. Not to their respective partners... but to each other. Their devious plan works perfectly. While secretly living with their partners, who move in next door, they appear to the outside world as a “normal” couple. They enjoy all the benefits afforded to heterosexual couples and also are able to ward off the curiosity of parents and any others who might disapprove of their lifestyle. However, Min-soo’s intrusive and incredulous parents begin to get a bit too involved with his life, threatening his scheme.
