We'll discuss medicinal and recreational use, safety and harm reduction, legality, access and stigma. There will also be opportunity for discussion around substance use in general - how we use it to cope and manage or physical and mental health and what that looks like during a time of crisis.
Men’s Movie Night

We'll be watching Dear Ex, a Taiwanese comedy/drama with the ultra-rare happy gay movie ending. A quick synopsis from Netflix: “When Sanlian's ex-husband passes away, she discovers he has altered his insurance policy, cutting out their son in favor of a stranger named Jay. Outraged, Sanlian decides that she and her son will confront Jay, but Jay proves equal to her scheme. However, when her son unexpectedly moves in with Jay, she is forced to reassess her relationship with them both.” And the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZuDMECORFE The dialogue is in Mandarin Chinese and we’ll be watching with English subtitles. AQUA x ACAS Movie Night
To kickstart Asian Heritage Month, AQUA and ACAS is hosting a movie night: Watch Netflix's movie The Half of It directed by Alice Wu (the same director of Saving Face) with us! (No Netflix account needed) This event is for queer Asians of all genders. "The Half of It" releases on Netflix on May 1st, but if you don't have a Netflix account, you can watch it with us on May 2, 8pm. Men’s Humpday
Staying Connected while Social Distancing Loneliness got you down? Sexual frustration got you up? You’re not alone! In this virtual Humpday workshop, we’re going to be talking about how social distancing has affected our social and sexual lives as well as sharing strategies and tools to help meet our needs in these challenging times. Our Humpday nights are typically the last Wednesday of the month but this one will be held on May 13th via Zoom at 7:00PM.
