Cum aboard the sunset riverboat cruise.... to Riverdale Park! This free in-person event is for East & Southeast Asian gay, bisexual, queer cis and trans men. We will spend the evening together at gay hot spot, Riverdale Park East by Broadview Ave. We'll have a chill hangout and share snacks. Drinks are optional! Look for us on the hill with an ACAS sign. We'll end with a small "nature hike" through the bush trails and look for signs of "wild life". In other words, after hanging out we will take a tour through the cruising areas together! Please be respectful when walking through the bushes as we do not want to interrupt or disturb the activity in there. We are only observing. Avoid being judgmental or giggling at others. For those who have never been or are curious, this is a way to introduce cruising in a safer environment. topics include: + cruising etiquette + what to prepare in your cruising kit + safety tips bring: + water + snacks to share + a blanket or mat to sit on + bug spray

Hong Fook Youth and Family Services partnering with ACAS to run a new monthly LGBTQ+ peer support program for LGBTQ+ Asian youth under 30. The peer support group offers a space for youth to connect and share their experiences around a variety of topics relevant to their lives, including LGBTQ+ and mental health. Together we create a supportive, non-judgemental environment that inspires hope, healing, and change. Join us for fun Picnic Games at Bickford Park for queer & trans Asian folks! Free bánh mì (Vietnamese sub sandwiches) & drinks will be provided. Let's chill, hang out, and make new friends at the park. Lots of fun picnic games to play together including: Tug-o-war, "newspaper" game, spoon race, balloon games, samurai vs ninja, etc ... There will be prizes!! This is a #RisingYouth event to especially celebrate the past year's recipients and a fun way to treat our community.
