EducAsian: Roundtable Discussion on Anti-Asian Racism
EducAsian is a series of workshops hosted by ACAS that aims to equip and empower East and Southeast Asian LGBTQ+ youth with basic knowledge and skills to deal with Anti-Asian racism in their daily lives and connect them to the community. EducAsian Expressive Arts Therapy
EducAsian is a series of workshops hosted by ACAS that aims to equip and empower East and Southeast Asian LGBTQ+ youth with basic knowledge and skills to deal with Anti-Asian racism in their daily lives and connect them to the community. We are offering six free Expressive Arts Therapy sessions on Mondays from January 24th to Feb 28th, 6PM-8PM EST. The Expressive Arts Therapy sessions will allow LGBTQ+ Asian youth to work with professionally trained expressive art therapists to creatively self-express, reconnect their body, mind and spirit, create a safe space to explore feelings, and provide a channel for healing. Participants will attend all 6 sessions together with the same cohort of peers, and will receive a FREE art kit to participate in the creative activities! Asian LGBTQ+ Youth Peer Support Group with Hong Fook
Hong Fook Youth and Family Services partnering with ACAS to run a new monthly LGBTQ+ peer support program for LGBTQ+ Asian youth under 30. The peer support group offers a space for youth to connect and share their experiences around a variety of topics relevant to their lives, including LGBTQ+ and mental health. Together we create a supportive, non-judgemental environment that inspires hope, healing, and change.
