Our partnership with RAW Taiko Drumming allows up to ten QTAY (18-29 years old, must be queer and/or trans as well as Asian but otherwise open to all genders/sexualities) to attend six free workshops on Thursdays from 7-9 pm EST from April 21st - May 26th. Hope This Works: A Workshop on Queerness in the Job Search

What does job searching mean when one is queer? Asian? What does searching for employment mean when you’re QTAY (queer trans Asian youth)? On Wednesday, May 18th, join QTAY on Zoom from 6-8 PM for a discussion and resource-based workshop around searching for employment and the challenges that go along with it! We’ll have a conversation around meaningful work, working as queer trans Asian youth, and share some tips and tricks around refining your search for work. Intersexionality: The Crossroads of Queer Asian Intimacy

Coming from Asian backgrounds, we may have had strict socio-cultural stereotypes of what intimacy is supposed to be. So what does dating and intimacy mean when one is queer or trans? What does it mean to navigate sexuality when one is Asian? Join the QTAY Peer Educators on Zoom, May 25, from 6-8 PM, in Intersexionality: The Crossroads of Queer Asian Intimacy, a workshop where Queer Asian folks can come together to learn about and discuss experiences of relationships and intimacy – sex-related and non-sex-related – through the topics of consent, harm reduction, and pleasure! Asian LGBTQ+ Youth Peer Support Group with Hong Fook
Hong Fook Youth and Family Services partnering with ACAS to run a new monthly LGBTQ+ peer support program for LGBTQ+ Asian youth under 30. The peer support group offers a space for youth to connect and share their experiences around a variety of topics relevant to their lives, including LGBTQ+ and mental health. Together we create a supportive, non-judgemental environment that inspires hope, healing, and change.
