This is a space that Queer Asian folks can enter and leave at any time to relax, eat, play, and be themselves with other Queer Asian folks during the holiday season. Asian Trans Masc Meet & Greet
This is a monthly group for East & Southeast Asian transmasculine and non-binary people. This includes all transmasculine-identifying folks or folks who may be questioning. We welcome people at any point of their transition. This monthly group is a safe space of support where we can share and learn from each other's common experiences as Asian transmasc folks. This group will be facilitated by an Asian transman. Date: Tuesday, January 5 Time: 7pm - 8:30pm EST If this will be your first time attending please register through this form (https://forms.gle/8W3VzpkbsRQ3iY3H9) and the facilitator will email you with the Zoom link. If you are part of the Asian trans masc Facebook group or email newsletter, you will automatically receive the Zoom link there. Who can join? ACAS primarily serves those who identify as East and/or Southeast Asian living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. However, we know spaces for East & Southeast Asian transmasc folks are very few and we are happy to open this event to those living outside of Toronto. Please note that resources will be focused on Toronto due to our knowledge of local services and resources. East & Southeast Asian includes those from multiple generations of immigrants (1st generation, 2nd generation, and so on..) and members of the diaspora from East & Southeast countries like China, Hong Kong, Philippines, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, etc. This can also include people with mixed backgrounds from at least one of those countries. This may also include those who might not identify ethnically by blood, but have a substantial heritage or up-bringing living in those countries.
Men’s Games Night: Hanabi
Your Friday nights at home just got a little better! Looking to meet new friends during the pandemic? This is a monthly online games night for Asian gay, bi, queer, cis and trans guys. We'll start with introductions and then play a fun game. We'll be making our own new years fireworks with this month’s game called Hanabi. Hanabi is a cooperative game, meaning all players play together as a team. The players have to play the fireworks cards sorted by colors and numbers. However, players cannot see their own cards, but give hints to their fellow players. Feel free to drop in and out between 8pm - 9:30pm EST To receive the Zoom link, register by clicking here How to play: Hanabi Each player will have 5 cards in their hand. Players will not see what cards they have in their hands but they can see what cards other players have. There are five sets of colours (blue, red, green, yellow, white) that are numbered from 1 to 5. Working together, the players must collectively form these five sets of colours in numerical order (1 to 5) only by giving each other hints and playing cards. On a player's turn, they must perform exactly one of the following: I. Give a hint or II. Discard a card or III. Play a card. The player has to choose an action. A player may not pass. Important: Players are not allowed to give hints or suggestions on other players' turns. Bullet Journaling in the New Year
It's the New Year, and we all know that keeping up with resolutions can be hard. Join us in this BuJo Workshop to learn how to set and chase goals in a healthy way, celebrate even the smallest of wins, and learn some Bullet Journaling techniques along the way! Saturday, January 9, 6pm-7:30pm Zoom link will be sent closer to the event date. Description: This workshop aims to help Queer Asians use goal setting in a mindful way, especially during such a turbulent time where our productivity is often closely judged. Pretty layouts are nice, and while we'll learn some tricks to spice up our lists and journey entries here, the focus is more on how we can appreciate even the smallest of steps in our journeys towards finishing projects and growing as people. Rainbow GPS Project

Through weekly drop-in sessions, the Rainbow GPS project will be a learning space for people to explore themes around sexuality, gender identity, coming out, consent, dating and relationships, and body image. The objectives are to LEARN different concepts and themes, APPLY key learning outcomes, and SHARE personal or lived experiences. Through these objectives (learning, applying, and sharing), the Rainbow GPS Project aims to explore various LGBTQ+ identities that are specific to East Asian and Southeast Asian cultures and how those LGBTQ+ identities are being translated to Western society. The project focuses on LGBTQ+ resources in the Greater Toronto Area, but people can register from across Canada. Starts at 1:00pm to 3:00pm every Saturday starting January 23rd to February 20, 2021. All five (5) workshops are held through Zoom: January 23: Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE) 101 January 30: Coming Out to Myself February 6: Sup? Looking?: Navigating the online world of queer dating February 13: I am My Body: Consent, body image, and desire February 20: I got it! Need a space to relax or a space where you can study to some chill beats? Join us for another drop-in session! Wednesday, January 27, 6pm – 8pm Zoom link will be sent closer to the event date. Description: If you’re feeling isolated and lonely trying to get work done or just want a place to hang out with people, this is the place to do it! We’ll have a space where we can listen to a playlist curated by LGBTQIAP+ Asians and work together quietly, while also being able to chat with each other and whatnot. If you need a space to talk or want to vent a bit, Dany (our coordinator) will be around to go to a breakout room with you and listen to you. Please keep in mind that Dany is not a professional, but is there to empathize, offer advice and resources, and moderate the space. This’ll be a two-hour session of working, chilling, and chatting together. Even if you don’t stay the whole time or arrive late, that’s okay! We’d be happy to have you for whenever you’re able to stop by, even if you just want to say hi. Men’s Humpday
This event is for Asian gay, bi, queer, cis and trans men. Wednesdays can be the hardest day to get through during the week. The Humpday workshop occurs on the last Wednesday of every month. Humpday is an evening for gay Asian guys to get together over a topic or theme related to our queer identities.
