This workshop looks at the impacts of colonization and how it changed the way gender and LGBTQ+ identities were previously recognized in various Asian cultures. In this workshop we will define colonization, identify the impacts of colonization in Asia, and give an overview of LGBTQ+ representation in Asian history and culture.
