Monkeypox Info Session

Dear ACAS community members,
On behalf of ACAS support and Men’s program, we would like to cordially invite you to our educational/info-session on Monkeypox presented by Dr. Kevin Woodward on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at HQ Toronto. (790 Bay street, unit 820, Toronto, corner of Bay and College).
Date: October 6, 2022 (Thursday)
Time: 5-8 PM (5:30 PM light dinner, 6:30 PM presentation)
Venue: HQ Toronto (unit 820, 790 Bay Street, Bay and College)
During the workshop, Dr. Woodward will deliver:
- An overview about the Monkeypox virus, how contagious the virus is, how this virus affects the immunocompromised population, and ways to prevent the virus in your daily life.
- The importance of the vaccine (first or second dose) and the degree of protection.
- What is the next step in response to the virus in Canada/Toronto Public Health.
A light dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. and presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m.
