Intersexionality: The Crossroads of Queer Asian Intimacy
👉 When: Wednesday, May 25, 2022 👉 Time: 6-8pm EST 👉 Location: Online (Zoom) Love, sex, intimacy… all our lives we may have been told about how these things were supposed to look like. Coming from Asian backgrounds, we may have had strict socio-cultural stereotypes of what intimacy is supposed to be. So what does dating and intimacy mean when one is queer or trans? What does it mean to navigate sexuality when one is Asian? Join the QTAY Peer Educators on Zoom, May 25, from 6-8 PM, in Intersexionality: The Crossroads of Queer Asian Intimacy, a workshop where Queer Asian folks can come together to learn about and discuss experiences of relationships and intimacy – sex-related and non-sex-related – through the topics of consent, harm reduction, and pleasure! No materials will be required, other than you, of course! CW: Frank discussions of sex and sexuality throughout the workshop. If you have any questions or concerns, or would like more information, please email Dany at youth@acas.org. Hope to see you there! :)
